From the Creator of BAM

Bikes and Mics stems from my desire to share what I do every day as a motorcycle rider with others. I zig zag from gig to gig, have adventures, and make friends everywhere I go. It’s *ridiculously* fun. I have discovered many things from the back of my motorcycle. For example:

Soccer moms will break traffic laws to tell you “how hilarious the eyelash on your bike” is. Guys will stop on street corners and earnestly ask, “would you like a boyfriend?” (D’awe!) People will high-five you at stoplights and snap pictures for as long as the light allows. On longer rides, minivans with families honk and smile, pointing at your platform high heels under spider cable tie-downs as you fly down the highway.

People are rad and it’s a different way of life- a more connected, silly, and engaging way of being. It’s fun, A LOT of fun, and I want you to experience what it feels like to roll with great people out to have an awesome time.

My vision for Bikes and Mics is that we ride together, learn from each other, and actively shape the face of what it can mean to be a rider today. We have adventures, create memories with people who share our interest in riding, and pull from a wide spectrum of life experiences. Most importantly…  We. Have. Fun. Our logo? Bikes (uh doi) and Mics (each of our members has a voice). 

Bikes and Mics was created to support a welcoming environment for riders of all genders, ethnicities, and experience levels. We ride our motorcycles, see shows, have dinner together, and sometimes we dress in costumes, or as a theme for a ride. We’re just good people having fun. All are welcome! We are a community, not a motorcycle club (or MC) and are not affiliated with any other social clubs or groups. There are no bike size requirements, or style preferences. We aren’t required to wear club patches and we do not have officers. Instead of officers, we have contributors. Our community shares our wide range of skills (photography, videography, design, entertainment, education, etc.) in meaningful ways and we all benefit as a result. We don’t charge dues. There are no participation requirements. We are simply a friendly group of diverse riders who seek to have fun, elevate our abilities, and each other. More about this can be found on our About page.
